This is not a sappy emotional movie, not at all, but still in the end I had tears in my eyes, when I saw how hard it was for the real vets to talk about it, even after 50 years had gone...
As I said, have you not seen this series, then you should, I think it is the best movie I ever have seen.
It is kind like Saving private Ryan for 10 hours++ , only this is better, and a 100% true story.

Edit: The combat scenes was at least as realistic at those in private Ryan, but here it was way more of them.
I have a digital souroundset in my livingroom and a movie projector, so when the fighting was on I found my self duckin in the chair I was sitting in, amazing piece of filming.
