Need help from Falcon 4.0 experts...
« on: December 31, 2002, 03:40:17 AM »
I use in AH the following setup: USB CH fighterstick, USB CH pro throttle, and gameport CH Pro pedals. Here I have no problem because AH allows me to pick axis on different devices.

However, in Falcon 4.0, I am unable to use the pedals. I know that a 'solution' is to buy a USB set of CH pedals, but I would like to know if there exists a special patch, a utility or any other software allowing me to fool Win98SE or Falcon 4.0 and 'group' the pedals with the HOTAS as one single virtual device.

Thanks for your help, Merry XMas and happy New Year.

Have had same problem, found not solution :/

Falcon only recognizes one controller, and it seems the F4 community think that the sim is worth buying the right gear and that their efforts are better placed trying to improve the sim rather than programming dual controller capabilities.

I have an odd bug right now. Missing graphics in cockpit. I get hit, the damage display is all blue squares. Same with nav light. Must reinstall I suppose. Ugh. And I just managed to survive my first mission in campaign mode (even killed something. A ROK F5. LOL. Too little evidence for a court martial however, sso I'm clean :D)

Heheh, gotta love that game.

It's something that I've requested the Super Pak team add to their superb update. There are so many players out there with USB gear and Flacon 4.0 still only allows one controller input which is why I ended up buying a cheap set of TM Elite pedals to go with my Cougar (wanted to play Flanker 2 also) They have updated the graphics to be DirectX8 compliant and I think Flacon 4 would sit on more hard drives if they updated the DirectX input too.
