Great job, guys. Many thanks for the hard work.

All of these improvements and changes make this sim just that much more attractive to new players. It won't take long for the word to get out that AH is a serious sim run by serious people who are serious about having fun.

And I'm serious about that!!

HTC,

I haven't flown in 1.04 much yet, but already I can see the Yak-9U rocks bigtime.  I'll see what the La-5FN can do now too in the coming weeks.  I like the icons.  Thanks for all your work

Oh yeah. I love what they did to my cherished Yak-9U.

Have yet to try other planes.

I second the thoughts by all, great update! I really like the new e retaining of the FM. Makes for a more enjoyable flight. It also feels more realistic to me and though I don't have any time in the real ac the previous versions loss of e in turns never felt like it was the way it should have been.

The new bombers are great! Nath and Superfly did an outstanding job on them. Flew them both and really enjoyed the great graphics and flight models. The new dammage model on the buffs, I guess it changed, was in my opinion more realistic too. I was attacked by a persistent N1K while in the 88 and though I did manage to shoot him down he pinged me hard and I lost both flaps, one gear, and an elevator but was able to continue flying and finish my mission.

A great effort and I feel well worth the time spent on the work. Congrats HT, Pyro and all, great job!

I haven’t flown all the planes. But from what I’ve seen I like. WTG HT and CO!!!
Oh and thanks for the Ostwind. She’s a killer. Tanks will have some good air cover now. And this will defiantly help the tank side of the game.

My initial impression after 6 hrs or so...
The angle fighter has a new lease on life,AND the well practiced BnZer still can attack with near impunity. If 'I' can be effective in the BnZ fight, the FM has NOT been unbalanced to the point that E tactics are no longer viable.I am an angle fighter at heart.
I dont claim to know whether the new FM is more realistic or less. But I do think the playing field has become more balanced as a result. That makes for better playability for all styles.Better for all,is just...better

Is this where you get the pom poms at??? If so count me in.  HT I LOVE the new E retension model. It was very frustrating to watch a stall come so fast just by trying to climb in a very powerfull fighter. Now my compliant. The new FM makes my real Piper Comanche perform worse!!!    I can't outclimb a P51 in it any more!!!!

1.04 has me searching around for any source of money to get back playing again   Damn this is fun! I truly get the impression that split-second decisions and ACM are critical to survival now, and I've had some astonishing 5-minute long dogfights ending up with both aircraft battle-damaged - and this is flying a TYPHOON!

I've no idea whether this is realistic or not, and right now I don't care. I don't know what HTC's position is on letting old subscribers have another free trial, but right now I'd really like to see if the arena is as addictive as I think it would be

Well... Pyro definitely fixed the Yak's wierd trim problems from 1.03 Now it can take advantage of its acceleration, without it  going out of trim and scrubbing off all its speed.

How would I describe it now? I still want the -UT guns, but my preliminary opinon is...

Scary, VERY scary
