if this is the first time im going to download mitsu's sound collection, do i need to download the very first version and then get each different version as they came out? or does 1.07 have all the sounds he has created to replace the defaults?

Just download the 1.07 full version. It should be 24.3mb.

All you need is the latest version.

In my opinion, the .50cal sound is a bit weak. Everything else is good, tho. The air raid sirens, base under attack, and Check 6 files are a huge improvement over the stock sounds. The new Mustang engine sound is a winner, too.
