Alfs wish list for AH
« on: January 04, 2003, 11:05:43 AM »
I wish you could set vox to center speaker only on 5.1 sound so norman sounds dont drop out, but vox is clear.

I wish you could set priority for RANGE and CHANNEL vox, and/or control the volume of each independantly.

I wish that squad art were more visual, perhaps have squad art option with lage decal on wings and vert stablizer.  As it stands now, only get to see the stuff on rearm pad.  If this is totally undoable for bandwidth/cache size (with todays computers I think now...but Im not coding the game :D ) then at least allow squads to have color markers (multi-color stripes on wing and tail), maybe 1-7 color bars.  Anything to identify a squad to the enemy.  It would add a lot to the game IMHO.

I wish icons didnt give plane specific info that couldnt posibly be seen in normal combat, especially perk variant tags.  a 190s a 190, a 109 is a 109, a spit is a spit...unless its a spit 14:(   a F4u is an F4u.....unless its an F4u-4:confused:

I wish terrain was more varried on each map.  Current texture limits are a too restrictive.  Pizza is WAY WAY to brown....but other maps could use a few spots of brown, pizza would be so much better if it were only ½ to ¾ brown (not including the water of course)

Oh....and lest we forget...yea Ive got a list too:

B-24

B-25

Gloster Meteor

Mig-3

P-39 (russian in all likelyhood)

P-59

Stuka with real guns (tank killer version)

Just one mans wish list ....:D :D :D

In setup you can set your vox so that other sounds don't diminish when vox is activated. Then go to the sounds tab in setup, and reduce all your in game sounds to 65%. Then just crank your volume up a tad, and viola! clear vox without having all other sounds dropping off.

Unfortunately, with just adding vox to all my speakers, those in my squad with loud deep voices (there are a few) shake the walls and wake the neighbors 3 houses down.
