...dunno but I got something very similar, then came back and my "help...me" thread in the Oclub has disappeared.  I've never seen a whole thread just up and go away but ...it is gone.  Heard there was all kinds of trouble with the server today...methinks something foul is afoot.

Tumor, 2859 seems to be you as SwampRat, looking down that Perk plane thread?  What ya been doing?    ;)  Or is SwampRat a different Tumor?    :confused:

I'm not quite sure what you were trying to do (just got out of bed, give me a few sips of Diet Coke..... *slurp*- ok, got it) but it seems like some board admin was trying to clean up defunct accounts. My guess, anyway.

Alright, did some checking, and it is the "Swamprat" account being represented by 00002859. Dunno what's up, haven't seen this one before. I do notice threads die when he posts to them- didn't Swulfe used to have Death's touch on a thread?    :D

Haven't a clue whats goin on but I can explain the Swamprat thing.  I "was" swamprat in Aces High for quite awhile.  Due to a badly managed credit card (not by me but my bank) my account got shut-down, right about the time my old squad moved over from Air Warrior.  I got my "old" ID back "Tumor" which I started posting with on the BBS.  Now...the problem was I couldn't get my password for "Tumor" on the BBS WHILE I was at work because I couldn't check my home email from work (at that time) so I just used Swamprat and signed as "Tumor" ...  :confused:   Sorry lol, well anyway, I got it all fixed and SwampRat is gone for good.  The really wierd thing though is I started getting the wierd message only last night...before I got everything changed back to "Tumor".

that should all be clear as mud  :D

Hmmm, can't say I understand why... I don't actually use the same account that I play on to post here... just the way things worked out.  Originally my login name was Flossy and GameID was Flos, but then I cancelled that account, but not before posting on this board.... then when I returned just over a year ago, my login name is now AWFlossy, and my GameID is Flossy.  As the old login name and new GameID match, I have continued to use the old login for posting on the boards.... does that make sense?  LOL   :confused:  If it doesn't, maybe I shouldn't ppost at 1.10 am my time....  ;)

..ok, well, the Game ID and BBS ID have nothing to do with each other.  It's just that I "like" to have them the same.  The reason I couldn't use "Tumor" at work was I never set my BBS password to something I could remember AND when I clicked on the "forgot password" thing, the email was sent to my home account.  Now that all thats cleared up...I'm gonna restart a SwampRatt name just to make things more confusing  :)
