the rebuild times are definetly wayyy too fast.  Nowhere near what is stated above.

Plane match is okay, but I still would like to see the Ki-84 really soon.  Better yet, the A26 Intruder would be a great low alt JABO attack plane to add. :D

Over all "fun factor" of 8 for me.  Despite my rants and raves when I'm flying one-eyed and bleary tailed.

Oh...  Is there a spell checker in this thing somewhere?  MEET, not meat....  Invasion vs Invashion....  Odee, not dumbarse... etceteras. :p

YEah rebuild is really toasted.  I think anything faster than 40 minutes in the ct with a big map is too fast.

Get a load of this, last night we had a couple of people (dlamba/aka jb79, and trukill aka probably younger then dlamba) playing some interesting games.  Trukill, sitting as a knit, would blow up his own vh. then JB, as a bish, would come in with a goon.  Maybe we should fix the kill your own vh bug.

I had several discussions with these young men about this sort of behavior. They asked me for help learning how to bomb and so on. So, I agreed to join their squad short term to try and guide them, not only for training, but to instruct them in proper CT manners, organizing missions and the like. When Trukill violated the unwritten rules governing advantageous side switching, I then switched sides and killed him myself! After that he generally behaved himself.

I know that Jb79 has a reputation as being a silly kid and loose cannon. But, so what? He's just 14! Ya gotta cut kids this young a little slack. Both of these kids really want to excel at the game. Both are willing to fly any mission, do whatever is required to get the job done. No, they're not as dependable as adults.. I don't expect them to be.

By the way, reflect back to when you were 14, and think how you would respond to being handled roughly by adults. Some of the stuff directed at these kids in the text buffer was way over the top and makes me think some of our adult players have some growing up to do as well. If you're annoyed 'cause they managed to kill you a few times... Well, get over it for cryin' out loud!

If and when they do something inappropriate, calmly explain why that is not acceptable, rather than rant, call names or otherwise carry on. You'd be surprised how willing they are to accept gentle correction, rather than beating them over the head.

Jb79 told me his goal was to have the top ranked squadron in the CT. Granted, he has a couple cheat tainted field captures, yet think what you will of these kids, but as of this morning, he DID have the top ranked squadron....

I'll bet that really burns some buns!

Yeah, glock was out of hand.  I am not sure he is all that much older than the two kids in question.  I told him to just let em burn out on it but he was pretty pissed.

I only got you involved when I noticed you were part of the squad!  ouch.

I am not sure anybody in the ct gives much of a care to squad ranks, but all power to em!  It should not be a difficult goal to reach and maintain.

I just hope they understand that resets crash the CT.  And this is fair warning about how pissed I will be if I log in for squad night on tuesday or thursday only to find those two milkrunning in a toasted arena.

All of these kills were dlamba flying a nik and jb79 in a b26.  This is with a total of  3 hours of fighter time.

Onerealy Nice thing about this map is that the rook(the odd country) bases is way the heck and gone like 4 sectors fromanything so taking it is kinda hard.

A long time ago I was in a Squad Called the Night Hawks, great Buch of guyes realy, We had a 12 year old and an 8 year old in the Squad, the 8 year old was booted for some reasion not shure what realy kinda hapened before I jopined I think, at any rate he used to lead and make mishions in the MA all the time and was suxcessfull at doing it, I remember one guy in our squad saying on RW I wounder what all thoes gues in that Mishion would think if they Realised an 8 year old was leading them.:)

 Were all kids realy.:)

Yeah sometimes it is good to help them, but in the long run I have found that having a 18 or older rule in a squad is good.  We have one member who is younger than that, but he is well mannered.

Really most of the fun in these games are the interactions with other people, and just the same as I dont hang out with my undergrads at the bar, or go to their parties, I would rather not spend time with 12 year olds during my favorite hobby.

How does that work?  What does the multiplier do?

I have checked the stats and find this unacceptable cheat/score-whoring. Having already discussed this with these gentlemen, it seems that they prefer to "game" their way to good scores, rather than earn them through performance.

So, I will immediately withdraw from the squadron and that will pork their overall score..

Apparently these guys need fulltime supervision to keep them from getting into mischief, and I haven't the time for that.

It's unfortunate that they place score above honesty....

Widewing

That is too bad to hear they were not willing to behave otherwise, maybe your action will show them otherwise.  If they ever do turn around though, I forgive and forget easily.   When they want to play the game, I wont hold it against em....

Sorry you had to do that WW i had a little conversation with one of these gents earlier, just couldnt seem to register that rank doesnt necessarily mean good pilot, but he informed me that it was his goal to be #1 so I just let it go, didnt think he understood that being #1 is ok but how you get there is what really matters. Remember the Hellcats are always looking for some good sticks so if you are interested let me know.

I have to agree with HFMudd, one bad mistake in either and you are dead. In the Yak, however, if u dont get too slow at least you can run...George vs Yak, La's not much different than the A6M5 vs F6F.
