GOOD GRIEF! It just doesn't seem like it was a "whole year"(!) ago when Lowe and myself started the squad up. Seemed like it was just Lowe and myself for the longest time then it just started snowballing into the great squad it is today. You guys have really carried on the tradition well and made VF-27 one of the best squads in the CT. Makes me long to fly the old Kitty again off the CV but Lowe would shoot me for sure.

Happy Birthday again VF-27 and here is to your next year! !

Hey thanks Andi and Lowe, didnt realise it was 1yr ago that you two started the Hellcats, and what a fine squad it is. Want to thank you two for promoting me to CO of VF27, didnt know for sure at first if I wanted to take on the job but am sure glad I did now, it has been a great experience and quite fun. No one could ask for a better group of guys to fly with, they are dedicated pilots to AH and love to fly the Hellcat and Corsair. We still have quilte a few of the same guys flying and have picked up a few more real good sticks since you two left. The 27th Sentai was a great axis squad but after flying Axis a few times I can understand why it is hard to keep an Axis squad going. I think the Checkertails is a great squad and will probalbly become the best squad in the CT, most seem to want to fly the USAAF planes and I can understand that too, maybe we should go to the dueling arena some time and try each other out, would be a hoot, what you think? Once again ~~Andi and Lowe, Wilblue,Jaekart you guys did a great job!~~
