Just a short note from me, the CO of the 81st.
Yes we had aprox. 10 goons OTW to capture a base the Rooks had been furballing at for over an hour (to no avail) but for everyones information, there were never more than 20 troops in the air at 1 time due to purposeful staggering of the routes and takeoff times! This was NOT the cause of the server problem!
It took three separate drops within about two minutes to get enough troops into the maproom due to fighters killing some of each drop.
Without this strategy we would not have captured the base due to the heavy resistance.
The server glitch happened, i believe, due to the MASS wtg messages from most of the 200 or so Rooks on at the time. I have seen Text Buffer lock ups many times after base captures and right after the war is won.
Perhaps Hitech can look into this but DO NOT rag on my squad for taking on an unwanted job to help the Rooks capture a difficult base.

It would be wise to do your homework before writing such a riduculous post, displaying what a nitwit you really are.  When you learn a little bit more about networking, server stability, packet loss, and overall technological information that is WAY OVER YOUR HEAD, then maybe you will be qualified to issue such remarks.  (even then, your reasoning would still be WRONG!!!!)

I don't know which is funnier, the thought that he actually believes that10 goons locked up the server, or that he doesn't think we should bring more than 1 or 2 goons.  Wow....  , wait.....someone..........is. ......................droppin g........30+...............................troops..............................................  Wow, did you see that lag.  I applogize, you're right.  Maybe we shouldn't drop all the fighter hangers on one run too.  Grow up and know what you're talking about before you run your mouth.
