So far all I see is that the parents refused the genetic test, not that Clonaid have admitted the hoax.

 I was betting with my friends that the mother would refuse revealing her identity after that motion in the Florida court which could result in her baby being taken away.
 Florida child welfare stysem was known to take children away from parents for very frivoluous reasons.

 I would not put possibility of cloning in the same category as Easter Bunny. I would have preferred that it was first performed by more ortodox outfit rather than one linked to a religious sect though.

 It would be stupid on your part to turn this thread into "whether cloning humans is possible" topic - we know it is or will be soon, even if banned in most countries.
 I really want to know the hblair's source. All my news sites just state the testing is off. Nothing so drastic as  "They admit [it] was all a hoax".

 OK than. I did not keep track of your accuracy but I do not have a problem with such an opinion and I have my suspicions too. As long a it is clearly marked as an opinion.
 It would have saved me a few minutes of fruitless search, that's all.

 I was playing a devil's advocate for cloning but I really do not care much personally. I oppose the ban on very different principles than any possible benefits of cloning.

They reported about 30 minutes ago on CNN that their "expert" says it's an obvious hoax. On some show that Wolf Blitzer was hosting. I couldn't find it on the internet just now so hey who knows...

Well I have read some studies that show that the cloning as described in the previous segment may be related to the same type of asexual biogenesis that is sometimes seen in female rabbits in the absence of males or when there may be an overabundance of food or colored eggs to deliver. This has also lead to the complete lack of recognition that some posts are just a joke.
