my view, mapping of joy stick all go back to a previous setting.
how do i get aces to remember my changes?

[by the way i fixed my vox by installing compuserve 6.0 over compuserve 2000]

i right clicked on the "settings" folder [in aceshigh] and the whole aces high folder and nothing is checked in the "read only" box...i hope this is what you mean...

Hi roofer,
If you find you do have files set to read only and it's to many to call them up individually to change them, drop into "dos" go to the setting folder and use "attrib -r *.*" That will remove the flag with a single command.

this the first problem...i'm a roofer not a comp tech
i just lftclicked and dragged the contents of the settings folder that WAS "read only" and unchecked them all in a single click.
problem solved
i learned something today...thanks
