460+ players cramped up in Mindenoa and overloading the server. The game is becomming unplayable. Something needs to be done.

When I came from WB 2.7 to AH in the beta epoch, the first thing that impressed me was the high quality of the cx. The smooth movement, lack of warping and lag and all with a better graphics than in WB, with a SOLID conection.
There were no doubt, AH was THE ON LINE SIM.

Now it is dangerously resembling the 98-WB.
What Hangtime said.
I log on in late European Hours average is 300 - 350 players, it is a low quality game.

But there is also another factor, not only the cx. issues: The world is too small for so many people. You barely are able to plan and execute a cover mission deep into nmy territory. Your only poss is to enter the arcade furballs.
Somethig have to be done, and quick.

Simply fix: Re-limit the Main to 250 again, and force the rest to the CT arena  :D

Force is right rip.. you sure don't want to give people a choice.   466 in the main and 24 in the ct.  The CT.. LOL you mean the LW arena.

You don't want to force people into an arena they don't wish to fly in either.  Air Warrior had the same problem some years ago.  Squads would be based in a certain arena and when one would log on and find the arena full, his/her only choice was to select another arena.  Unfortunately your squadmates would be in the arena you wanted to Log into.  Bad situation forcing others into an arena they don't wish to participate in.  They pay their money to fly when and where they want, and don't want to be dictated to.

Simple solution #2:
Perk the Niki & LA7 and watch the MA #'s drop like flies  :)

Seriously...
MA has been awful this past weekend. I thought it was my dial-up. No doubt Dale's workin on the prollm.

Hmm, my connect was fine with 450+ people in the main.  I ran across the occasional warper, but all in all, not too bad.

Same as Crash here.  I avoided real populated areas though.  I tried to find fights that had about 20-30 on each side.

Same here.  Last night was actually the best night I've had connect-wise in weeks.

Had no real problems last night....must be hickups in the net for certan portions of the country. Maybe it would help to post what region of the country the people that are having bad connects. Heck, I'm on a 26.4 dial up and even in a very populated area I still only see the occasional warper and no rubber bullets either

I did see that the host cue was more of an EKG than usual...still saw very few warpers.

If this isn't fixed by tour 25, I am gonna leave AH for WB (as sick as it sounds). The MA has been complety unflyable lately. I am on t1...so it isnt on my end
