Just when I thought there couldn't be a worse public speaker than President Bush...

I had the "pleasure" of listening to our exhalted Governor of California deliver his State of the State address last night - I don't think there is a more bland person alive in this world.

Closed Captioning man, learn it, live it, love it.

It was the only way I could watch the 2000 debates.

Oh wow - you're right!  I hadn't even thought of him, it was just that Gov. Davis was fresh on the mind.  I concede, Gore is the #1 bland person, Davis though (if you've ever heard him) is really giving him a run for his money!

T-minus 6 (or so) weeks and counting until I leave California.

Gray Davis and his spending are a good reason to leave.

forget that, just read the transcripts the next day.  much faster, and you can do it at work leaving your evenings for more enjoyable pleasures.  :)

You're Exactly right nifty - I did turn Gray off after about five minutes, got all the info (in a much more tolerable format) I needed from the paper this morning!
