Not sure how many have seen this, but it happens to me fairly often now.

Flying along with a wingman and looking right at him... then he dissapears totally. After a couple seconds, he reappears.

Engaged with a bandit and he disappears and then reappears again a few seconds later.

My pings have been <40 very steady for a long time, so I don't think it's my connection.

Has anyone else seen disappearing aircraft?

Yep, had a disappering p47 last night over a29 at 20K or so... was about 3K in front of me coalt, disappeared, reappeared 6K in front and about 2K higher.  Didn't have it on film tho.

It's happened to my squaddies before. I haven't seen it happen to a con yet fortunately. When I asked my squaddies what just happened, they had no idea the had even warped or anything.

Most likely explanation is they were abducted by N1K2s and returned upon completion of some kind of medical experimentation with their memories of the event erased. This is, however, hard to prove.

I regularly have pings > 500 :-D

Don't get yelled at for warping, I guess the connection is good, just the server is far, far away.

But I do see some strange warp behaviour though, but not bad enough that people can avoid being shot down bij me.

Happens to me pretty frequently,  About once everytime i log on.  I have seen several guys below me that I have been about to BnZ, then they disappear completly.

Ive noticed it only happens when i about to slaughter someone.

Then they reappear and i get em anyway...

Midnight, I remember flying on your wing with some of the other guys in the squad...I was up high playing free-fighter while you and they engaged some low cons.  I was watching the bogey you were engaging, when a couple of the guys with you came over vox saying that the bandit had disappeared.  I was still watching him, and told the guys his position.  When they reported they still couldn't see him, I came down and nailed him.

Same kind of scenario, except I was in an osty, and sofaking was right behind me.  He says, "Hey jonny, formation of lancasters right over you." I couldn't see them...didn't until they exploded right over my head.

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K....

I noticed the disappearing planes several times if only for a few seconds at a time, but enough to know it wasn't a one time thing.... Twice it was watching a C-47 drop troops when the c-47 disappeared

Interesting…  I had this happen last night.  I just thought it was net sludge or something.

I was in a Tempest and the enemy were two tiffies.  I think both of them did it at one time or another.  So far that was the only time though.

flying a formation of 17's tring to stay tight, lead formation moving in and out sometimes 2k.  Not just isolated it was during the whole 1 hour mission.  So have given up on watching the other formation to stay on course or in tight formation.

You obviously either missed the recall notice or have never regestered your's with the NiK2 mothership at the point of purchase...or you may have changed e-mail addys before the notice was released.

Seen it while running GVs too.

One minute I'm looking at a comrade in his tank the next moment he disappears.  I ask him over local where he went and he says he's still there and can see me clear as day.  Then, miraculously, he reappears.

Very strange and happening with alarming regularity now.
