Sister just had a baby boy.

7 pounds 9 ounces.  19 inches long (or tall?).

Ugly as hell, but he's still cute in an ugly way :).

Names Joseph Tyler... I assume we'll probably be calling him J.T.

Congrats man...all the best to your sister.

Your wing-man in a few years I assume.

Here is the key... the toys must be noisy and non-electronic. No batteries.

It's an uncle's RESPONSIBILITY to buy the kid all kinds of toys with flashing lights, loud beeps or barn animal noises, etc.

Of course, when you have kids, it may come back to haunt you.

my standard deffence to the 'noisy toy trick' was this statement

"wow, thats way cool.  he's gonna love it.  I'll just leave it hear so he has great toys to play with when he visits you"  then when you take the kid for a visit you always bring fresh batteries

The best way to defend against your defense is to live 9 hours away.  I never have to listen to any of the noisy toys I buy for my nephews.  :p

Congrats !!

You DO know it's your responsibility to purchase him his first set of drums, teach him how to spit and stand on tables ??

Lets not lose the tradition by simply not knowing..

Glad to be of help.
