Think it was almost 3 months ago I used "poster child for perma-squelch" in regards to bkhawk. But if the shoe fits for jb79, he can walk in it too.

There is no reason he should be permitted to use any squads name or info if he is not a member of that squad.
Hopefully proof of these accusations will be provided, appropriate steps will be taken (banned or  suspended comes to mind), & the diciplinary actions will discourage future immature subjects from following suit. Hopefully.

There used to be some poor pathetic loser type guy that  immitated our squad name, he called it  phlyin sirkus.  We mostly ignored him, occasionally pointed & laffed at him. .... been a while since ive seen him. Had almost forgotten about that.

It's simple... First, I squelch JB79. Then, I squelch everyone else on channel 1 that's squeaking about JB79.

Gives me something to do while I'm climbing up to altitude. :)

I just noticed my nick still has RTC in it.  Course now I would remove that if I ever was asked to by the genrl or other RTC folk.  But it hurts to get those tats ripped off.

yes we have ....
the unfortunate thing about all this is we need to keep monitering what he does. this has been going on for over a month almost. he "withdrew" from the squad saying he wanted to fly planes other than LW only (thats part of being in our squad). i personally heve chosen to ignore him in the main arena, and go on with my flying.

sadly the most recent post by him that JB66 quoted struck a nerve. on our website we promote the Rooks and make it clear we fly for them exclusivly. our fellow rooks need to know we are still loyal.

when his behavior on the message board disrupts MY gameplay because my countrymates dont trust me... something needs to be done.

i have sent a very polite email to support@hitechcreations.com asking for advise in this matter... thats all i can do for now.

on a more humerous note... this sounds a teeny bit like the time the MAW's roger wilco channel got hacked or whatever... how was that resolved? did they juat change channels or something?
I don't know what to put here yet.

There is no need for any disciplinary actions unless JB79 violated TOS.  The best way to resolve this matter would be for HiTech just to reset his CPID..err handle.

well if you ask me its a dumb idea having an entire squads names only dicernable by a number.

I thought there was only one JB## for ages until i saw 2 at the same time and realised they were a squad.

Jb79 hasnt said anything so out of line to deserve singling out from what ive heard so I fail to see the reason for the big hooha this is generating.what has he done? Hes joined missions and messed around a bit but its hardly anything terrible.

Demanding he change his name is a bit much and i dont see how you guys have the right to.

As for him using your squad name, as in if he is trying to claim hes in your squad or he has a similar squad name then i can understand you guys wanting it to stop.

I still suggest however you give yourselves names rather than numbers and that way we might be abl to distinguish between you all and not mistake jb## for jb##.

Hello,
We are not demanding that he change his name, he was asked if he would change his name and he stated that he does not want to, which is fine.
The latest problem is when he post on the boards and is using our squad signature, and that is where we have a problem.
The squad discussed changing our name and it was decided that we remain as we are currently with JBXX as our cpid.
Personally, I think JB79 is a good pilot, he gives check sixes and helps with the fight in which ever area he is flying in, then he'll call somebody a name or harrass somebody, which in turn brings about questions to our squad such as "Hey 42, JB79 just told me to ___________(fill in the blank)", and now we have to take time to explain the JB79 situation that he is not in our squad, or affiliated with us in any way.
Another way to look at it is if he decided to become AK79, then harrass people and do things which cause others to judge the AK squad, based on the experience with one person, who is not a member of the AK squad in the first place.
I am certain that the problem will go away shortly without intervention, just as Dlambda did before.
