There were some spits, then we all died.

I don't think we got even one chute.  Pitiful really.

D@mn it FDBs! How many times do we have to point out your squad charter to you .. you are supposed to shoot each other down in friendly fire incidents before you encounter the spits! ;)

cc furious, it was ugly at that point.  I was on the giving end. Later on I reflected on what it would have been like to been in your shoes.  Here you are in 110C's and stukas and you see three large squads of spit5's...higher than you.

for being great targets.  Just remember, what goes around comes around.

First frame we got Ju88s with no escort and all died within about 2 mins of each other. Second frame we get 110Cs with a full load of eggs and all die within about 2 mins of each other. I figure the only way we can top these is if we get the honor of flying C47s with 100% fuel at 15k this next frame.  :)

i am lobbying the squad to do a investigation on how bad the 110c is porked. cause no way should a LW plane die to a pitifull spitV. Hopefully a 5-10 paper double spaced with a 12 point font will be printed and mailed to htc as well as posted withing a fortnight.

Once the Mongrels had to stop a larger formation of higher 190A5s from attacking A-20 Bostons,  in Hurricanes Is!

It was fun while it lasted.  4 minutes!

:)  I always have fun in TODs regardless.  Mainly due to my squaddies!  These guys shot at least 3 Spit off my back on Friday night!

:)

Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

Umm, there mighta been more than that.  I remember chasing a Hurri off, but that mighta been before I got to you and your little Spit train.  ;)

You're right though, at least 3 spits.  I got two, and TeeeRex finished off the 3rd.

Now if I coulda just found someone to clear off the 5+ F4Fs and 2 Hurri IIc's at the end of the frame...  I wanna smack whoever it was that said "there are bostons out there!"  Yeaaaahhhh...  Nothing but higher F4F's.  (I got one of 'em tho!)  :)

Nifty I know the feeling. I want to smack the person who said there were 110s out there. There were but there were also 109s. I ended up on the deck fighting 2 109s and 1 110 for a bit until they blew my wing off.

Was fun.
