I've been a bit rough on the Yanks from time to time... a bit of banter is OK, but I never meant to be hurtful. Of course I like America! Why else would I spend so much time there.

Anyway, here's a bit of self-deprecating humour you might enjoy. That picture of Lazs and me arguing over a beer. I know Lazs doesn't drink, but this is after I've driven him to drink! lol.

Look at the two figures in the picture - all you have to do is guess which is which...

Well, Beetle has ceased being anti-American (I'm not sure he ever meant to be, other than in reaction), but ol' Laz is still pointedly anti-British.

Nice photo anyway. It's a nice beer too.

Yes!  It's a Yorkshire beer, I believe. A few years ago, I spent a week with family in the Yorkshire Dales, and on the way home stopped at Grassington, where there is a most marvellous beer shop. :)

I took all the Brits on a long walk along the beach where I attempted to calm them down and console them while all the Yanks were enjoying themselves in the Main Arena.
