Go the ASUS A7N8X route. I have one on order at my local shop here after I decided to quit waiting on the guy from my other thread to buy my current setup. Its going to take a while to get everything together but I am not regretting the choice of the motherboard.

I've had 6 asus boards over time and they are not quite as fast as some tweaked boards(the difference is minor) but they are as stable as they come.

Epox has made very stable and fast boards lately.

They used to suck totally, but now their products are among the most stable you can find. They made a turnaround and now build agressively with overclocking in mind. Just remember that differences in actual performance are extremely small mobo-wise.

The chaintec got crappy sound that stutters and crackles (not sure why they chose cmedia chip over already built in Nvidia) and internal cabling is too short.  Bad layout on motherboard too.

If you get the Asus and intend to use ob sound, make sure it is the deluxe as it uses the Nforce sound chip and the standard uses a third party chip.  Not sure, but I think I read pci frequ is locked.  Check here.

actualy i not care about sound chip , using SB5.1  the main reason is the maximal suport for ati 9700 and AMD cpu

another thing , reading here the Asus MB in standart go 3v on Agp
and the Deluxe version only 1.5 v on agp  , wil work corectly with ati 9700 ??????
