how to make ack more realistic idea

just a idea i had.

insted of the laser ack we have now have the ack deactivated by a  lined up approch ( wind a factor?) with gear down if you come in fast with gear up  or just from wrong angle ack shoots at you simple as that ( or some % of the time if you are friendly )

would make the whole thing alot more realistic and not to hard to impliment. and do away with laser ack squeaking. ( and ack runners!!)

could be used on cvs also

I'm sorry, I'm not following this at all.  Do you mean that I, as an enemy, should be able to "trick" the ack into thinking I'm a friendly by pretending to land?  Or do you mean that fleet ack should be shut down while friendly landing operations are going on?
