There is nothing better than a well spoken and concise argument.

Republicans have been on the wrong side of every issue of concern to ordinary Americans; Social Security, the war in Vietnam, equal rights, civil liberties, church- state separation, consumer issues, public education, reproductive freedom, national health care, labor issues, gun policy, campaign-finance reform, the environment and tax fairness.

No political party could remain so consistently wrong by accident. The only rational conclusion is that, despite their cynical "family values" propaganda, the Republican Party is a criminal conspiracy to betray the interests of the American people in favor of oligarchic and corporate interests and absolutist religious groups.

SSSHHHH!!!!!

Dammit you fool, if you let them know you're on to our secret, how do you expect to stay safe?

Hmmm, lets see here:
Vietnam - The majority of troops were sent over by Kennedy and Johnson, Dems

National health care - Oh yea, the US was really behind Hillary on this

Campaign finance - Last I checked, McCain said he was a Republican.  Of course your Dem elected officials would have noticed that if they weren't neck deep in the trough.  "Paging Mr. Torriceli, Mr. Torriceli, white paging phone please."

Tax fairness - Giggle...sorry can't even start on that one

Gun control - Damn that pesky 2nd amendment.  It lets the unwased masses have guns and other scary stuff.

You know, there hasn't been this much reality-denying, hand-wringing, woe-is-us-and-you-too-if-you-were-just-smart-enough-to-realize-it, dont you all realize what's happening, angst since...well, since Southern Democrats tried to prevent desegregation.

Are you forgetting the import ban on assault rifles was imposed by the first Bush Administration in 1989.

:p  There are two sides to the gun debate or did you just assume I was anti-gun?

As far as your argument about desegregation and "southern democrats" goes a picture is worth a thousand words.... Ronbo must have been reaaallll proud of his "porch monkey"....he even had his picture taken with it for LOOK magazine in 1966.

No, I think he's claiming to be Not-So-Mentally-Balanced-Person.

But he does entertain, kind of like that little organ grinder monkey.

Weazel,

My father-in-law has a yard statue just like that.  He's a staunch democrat.
