Dan Wessons are neat guns but... unless you only have one hand... why not use both? Point is... Handguns are not the inaccurate useless boogey men.
I think beetle has a pretty good handle on the likes/dislikes of someone he has never met. It is perfectly logical, given his penchant for talking abut things he knows nothing about... to form likes/disslikes about someone he has never met.
