The  Hungarian Factory was cominshioned to build 557Me 210's(C-1 and Ca-1) and 817 Me 410B-1's with 2/3rd's of all production aircraft going to the Luftwaffe. The 410's were howeaver never produced since most of the tools(jig's) were never sent to Hungery. Do to damage sustained in a USAF bombing atack only 270 210's were compleated and of those 110 were transfered to the luftwaffe, the factory was damaged to the extent that the production facility switched to just Me 109 production and then droped all firther Me 210 production. I beleave around 352 total Me 210's were produced so yes a fair precentage were from Hungery. While aprox. 1,121 Me 410's were built, by other Facilitys.

Arghhh BRADY u are a  ...

Why u post  pictures like these? Since 1 month I nearly forget that the Me210 and Me410 ever existed and now I have to look at this great AC here ...  I ... I ... want, no I need it so badly, so baaaaaaaadly ... ;)

But honestly the Me410 would be a great addition. I'm very curios if it'll be modelled in one of the next versions.

S!

The Me210C is being made for Forgotten Battles, but without the reargunner option for now. The rear gunner had a very complex system to aim the barbettes(3 Revi sights and complex mechanical system) and on Ubi forums Oleg himself explained how hard it would be to model it correctly. There is also very little data of the system available and good pics of it. But nevertheless the Me210C would be nice addition to the plane set. Remember also that Me110C-4 and Me110G-2 are included as AI and cockpits are under work. More info can be found from http://www.il2center.com

The Pauel E.  Garber Facility( Smithsnian) has a Me 410, I actual stood next to it and touched it when the tour gouid was not looking:), It clearly has the rear gun system in place and the interiour of the rear cockpit is as far as i could tell all their, if Pictures are required I am shure they could be obtained.

Brady! If You could obtain good and detailed pictures of the aiming system and rear cockpit, why not front cockpit too, it would immensely help to model this plane:DThere's a plenty of new planes under development by 3rd party modellers, like the Spitfire Mk.IXE, Spitfire Mk.XIV, B17G, PBY Catalina, Macchi C.200 some to mention and Oleg's team is making the P51D cockpit with a working K14 "AceMaker" sight for Ponylovers;):D

Good pics, but the modellers need detailed pics from closer range. It looks that the plane misses the 3 Revi sights. Those darned museum guys do not let U sit in there;)
