I too have ahd increased performance from missing flaps but it was a long time ago.

Here a pic of my boston fron a TOD with no elevators, engine or left aileron. I lost the right one soon after as well as rudder and it still flew, only u couldnt point it any where. The only thing that took me out of the sky was a zeke:)

Ps u can see bombs dropping on a field and i actually took out radar:D

in past I have seen screenshots in other forum of a Corsair making safe RTB with both wingtips gone... But it was a loooong time ago... :)

And with that A20 picture posted in my post above....

i lost the rudder and both stabs during recovering from divebombing attack when I missjudged my altitude and speed.... Anyway i dropped the load and flew over 2 sectors to friendly base and landed the crippled A20, gear down and on the runway... :)
