Woud YOU pay for more planes in AH ?

Hitech posted about paying 1 mil dollars for modelling a new plane for someone hehe , wel what i like to know if we the players woud pay some for more planes ?

I realy dont know how many players there is in AH but 3k + ???
Of those players 10 % hardcore players ??

If HT made US choose 6 new planes , 2 more vehicles and 1 bomber and a new boat woud we pay and if so how mutch ? the choosing of planes woud ofcourse be WWII ones and choosed in a poll here on BB .

Woud just be nice to see how dedicated the players are  :)

Id prefer to pay :eek: for:

- "engine losing power when hit" model and no plane losing oil and fighting  and running like mad

-new 3d cockpit  restyling

- instruments with original metric measurement

- a little light in the cockpit

and wathever makes the simulation "more real", than have new planes, at the moment......

my 2 cents, of course;)

The post you are refering to the person wanted korean war planes ie. a completely new game from HTC. NOT additions to AH.

I remeber when hitech first opened up the servers for AH (3 years ago?)  He mentioned somethign while online in the game about someone wanting to pay him 30 or $40,000 for the game back then.   AH was in a pretty rudimentary form back then though.  Now my memory (or hitech's spelling) could have been faulty, but this is what I remember.

Yes, but would you pay? If HTC posted a voting method where the highest voted for equipment was made. Every vote would cost, say $5.00. If you voted, and your choice won, the $5.00 would be deducted from your AH account, if you voted, and your choice lost, you get charged nothing.

Example:

new fighter choices
1. P-51H
2. P-38J
3. 109-K4
4. Ki-84

Every player would have the oppurtunity to vote on a new A/C model.

So let's say I voted for the P-51H and Wotan voted for the 109-K4. Then, 50 more people voted for the P-51H and only 30 voted for the 109-K4. The P-51H therefore recieved 51 votes :D and the 109, only 31, therefore the P-51H wins.

Now, because I voted for the 51H, my AH account is charged the $5.00 and I am happy, and HTC gets $255.00 income to model the 51H. All the guys that voted for the 109-K4 might not be as happy, but they don't loose any money either.

Anyway, the next time HTC does a vote for a new plane, it could be choices between

1. P-38J
2. 109-K4
3. KI-84
4. (some new choice)

Eventually, the player's choices would all be modeled and HTC would be making extra $$$ in the process.

If two planes cost $  then $500,000.00 per plane is pretty steep. We may have to rob a bank or two.

HiTech may have intrepeted it that way but all you really need is two planes in separate arena using an existing map or one a user could whip up pretty quick.

HTC has been adding planes since I started playing a year ago,and hasn't charged extra yet.


GB people who want to pay extra for something we are already getting.

With 500k per plane and 4000 paying players we would get one new plane every 8 months at best (if full 15$ were for a new plane). Something's wrong with the price ;)

I would pay 49.95 for an updated version of AH that graphically was the equal of FA 3.5, or CFS3, or IL2.

Would in a heartbeat.

Ohh yeah , but graphic isnt everything , gameplay is  :)


But sure il pay more each month or a 50 for a updated AH
