I'm posting this in the hopes that one or two people who havn't previously figured it out will listen to this advice. I'm aware that most people, especially most newbies don't read these boards, but if I can get through to one person it's worth it.
When you're attacking a base, the single most important target is the vehicle hangar(VH). As long as it is standing, there is the potential for the defenders to launch swarms of ostwinds, and cripple any oncoming attack.
So please, I beg of you, when you have ordnance, and you're trying to help attack a field. Don't waste it on a fighter hangar, or strat, or even the town. Kill the VH FIRST. Once the VH is down, bomb whatever you like, but the VH is by far the most important target.
A field covered in ostwinds is not easy to capture. It means enemy fighters can get AIRBORN and kill your team.(as opposed to vulched) It means ostwinds can roll into the town and stop troops from getting in.
For those of you who don't know what the VH is, refer to the picture below. They're easy to spot, being right next to the airfield.
