I vomit at the prospect of furballs in this late war planeset.  Its suicide eventually and I prefer to land what I have taken up.

Lazs, your work analogy ain't that bad...

When you have fun, you have fun - when you work you earn money (even better if you enjoy your work at the same time

When you furball, you furball - when you "work" in flying smart/flying missions you "earn points" (even better if you enjoy bringing yer plane back in one piece

I'm not trying to "ban" furballs - I'm just saying have your fun flying 'em but shift the weight to getting points for flying smartly.

Lazs,

I see you blow up alot.  If thats yer idea of fun then more power to ya.

OTOH, it aint my idea of fun.  After a billion deaths and a takeoff/landing ratio of 10/1 I have grown weary of the childs game.  Im trying to make this dumb game more of a challenge to myself.

I think if my approach to this potentiol sim  pisses gamers off and makes them publically rude and obnoxious then I am on the right track

I am doing it my way!

I think adding a point multiplier of 2x would be a good reward for mission participation, as is there are few missions.

I don't think many people would fly in AH if either of these were implimented.

Many people may not care about score, but they will care about the fact that nobody else will engage anymore unless they have a distinct altitude and numbers advantage and even then, it will most likely be one pass and run.

Think about an air war.  Not a simulation, but a war.  Why would you want to make something like that?

Give a bonus for surviving that makes it a preferable option.  Also allow people to fly badly, like a newbie or basically however they want in order to make the game more fun for everyone.

I fly a simulation for fun.  Much of that fun relies on it not being too good of a simulation.

Upon further review of the scoring system, there is a bonus if you land:

Death Multipliers

Landed    1.00
Discoed   0.25
Bailed    0.50
Ditched   0.75
Captured  0.40
Killed    0.25
Crashed   0.25

Maybe the thing to do is simply increase the landed multiplier to 2.00.

miko... u missed the point... I didn't say i didn't impregnate em.

yeager... Are you telling me that you are flying at your very best survival rate right now? LOL  Maybe you should just relax and have fun.   Only times I have ever seen you is when you and a wingie have jumped me from alt while I was on the deck.   I allways kill one of ya before I die.... I get sent to the tower and you or your wingie spends 10 minutes flying (oh my gawd... alone!) back to base... I'd say I was having the most fun.
