Check6.wav
« on: January 19, 2003, 09:12:11 AM »
When I receive a check 6 I see bright white text but hear no audio.  All other audio is fine.  Shouldn't I hear the check6.wav in C:\program files\htc\aces high\sounds also?  Is the location right?

I've checked my setup and the only thing I can see is the volume for check 6 and it's set at 80.  Does it have to be enabled somewhere else?

The wav file is the one that came with AH and plays fine through Windows Media Player.

Thanks.

Hi Bowser,
Is this the original "check6.wav" file? If I remember correctly the file type is important. and it must be "mono" not "Stereo". Have you tried downloading one from the various links on the BBS which are known to work.

Other than that no idea sorry.

Thanks snafu, but I received an email from HTC support and they suggested a reinstall.  It did the trick.
