Can't ya just feel the love that MG (Macboy) portrays?

Here's a lesson all AH and WB players can learn: Never let a game/sim get you this bitter: http://agw.dogfighter.com/agw/Forum3/HTML/013540.html

I've flown in that arena on the same country at the same time as MG, and I concur with -bobn-.  You can take the dweeb out of the MA but you can't take the MA out of the dweeb.

I haven't, but my point is, you have to learn to walk before you can run.  They better hope that WW2 Online flight model is what they advertise its going be or there will be alot of computers thrown out the 2nd floor of apartment buildings.

Troll or not he's fast becoming a poster boy for WB's and it's not a flattering picture.

Macboy is an fool. He blames AH that is only 6 months in production for missing features, but praises the same features in WWIIOL that does not even have a demo yet.
But for all his personal faults, Macboy does have a point.

***Right now*** AH does not have the planeset, terrains and many features to allow us something like WB WWII Arena ***because the game is still in its infancy***. They do seem to have provisions for developing all that (terrain editor, mission editor, better plane modelling environment) and working on them.

I sincerely hope that once they have enough planes, strategy features, available terrains and enough players to fill the arenas, we do get a similar realistic setup.
I do hope that we will be able to have all the features of WWIIOL in one of the AH arenas.

WB WWII arena is a huge success among many people (and is hated by many others). What is more important, people who like it are the ones I would like to fly with!
I would gladly take an extra 5% error (no more then 10%, at most) in the flight model if I could have more realistic WWII fighting (not just flying) experience.

Individual aircraft of the identical make differed by more then 10% in the RL field conditions, so my imagination can compensate for the mild FM deficiencies. It cannot compensate for my Bf109E being attacked by Me262.

LOL!  I swear, for somebody who never worked for IMOL/IMagic, he sure is an expert on what it was like working there.

Jezuz. If he don't like AH why doesn't he just stay away.

This kid needs some serious shrink-time.

Oh well, I own a PC, I fly AH, I enjoy it, I don't mind forking out the cash. Funny to think that my enjoyment of AH drives this kid insane.

That's what gets me the most about MG, he isn't attacking AH so much as he is attacking HT & Pyro. It's like he has focused on them as the cause of everything from World Hunger to the Depleted Ozone.

Not to drag anyone else into it, but I was surprised to read Cabby's post on AGW, where he ALMOST/KINDA SORTA sounded postive in a Aces High topic.

Anyway, if HT & Pyro are the cause of World Hunger and the Depleted Ozone, I'll forgive em, as long as I gets my FW 190 DORA soon

Well, I am sure that this is just a HTC trick.   They use that MacBoy to advertise the game; well, after each throll all you guys start telling how good the game is and how stupid MacBoy is to say bad word about the best game of all times, so you all attracting new ppl here

They really has a good PR person in HTC

Sheesh.

Is this thread really necessary??  Ripl, you disappoint me.  Again.  Can you say "s*** disturber"???

It does seem MG has it in for Pyro and Hitech.  Much like some people posted extreme dislike for Hotseat, Divine, and other iEN people in AGW.  As if i, and the vast majority of players, could give a damn.  No one likes those types of posts.

JV44 captured 2 Allied fields in the WW2 Arena in less than an hour during Monday Nite Prime Time, 7/24, using FW-190A's, Me-110's, and a JU-52.  Our opposition was Spitfires and P-51B's.

As Dai 44 Kaigun Kokutai, we forced the USN Hellcat's and Corsairs, and a few USAAF P-40's and P-38's,  back from Japanese Territory scoring many kills in the process.  We flew A6M's, Ki-61's, and Ki-43's.

Had a blast. No stupid dweebery like Mustang vs. Mustang, Hellcat vs. Hellcat took place.

Dunno who you are RAM, but i've played both AH and WB's.  AH is a great game.  If WBIII fails to impress, i will play either AH or WWIIOL or both.  We will see. But WB's WW2 Arena blows the doors off AH for fun.  No contest.

I don't have to convince myself of that fact.  I know it.

Flame on, i could care less.  I'm still waiting for AH to mature a little more.  It's great, but not quite there (for me)yet.

Cabby-

I applaud you in that you are trying to keep an open mind about all the sims. We may not agree on what is good or bad, but at least I can see that you are trying to formulate an informed opinion. S!

As far as MG is concerned, let's just say if he doesn't post here, there is no reason to be upset about what he has to say.   Giving those posts attention is what he wants, so why give in?

cabby..

Its taken WB a little over 5 years to come up with that arena. I know, ive been flying WB since beta and still hold 2 accounts (waiting to see what WBIII might bring).

Since AH went into production they have come a long way in 7 months. So you worry about to much to soon.

And i found a good use for the Mac i got, the rest of you boys really should try it out to.

I gutted it out & have a very beautyfull Salt water Aquarium. MG was right, much better colors than the PC..

Dog out........
