41-15 now... see how long that holds up...

it's sad and a foreboding for the new AHII that everyone is all excited about... wanna bet the vast majority of people will be allied avatars?  i guess people will get a kick out of finally being able to shoot down someone, even tho' it'll in all probility be an AI drone.  i sure hope HT codes the AI drones very very well, but even then....

Premature whine. We fixed it after one sortie. Didn't take long for the posts to come in, though.

Oh yeah, alomst forgot my own rolling eye thingy. Gotta add "flair" to any good whine!

it took about 10 mins of cajoling, but yeah the nbrs eventually balanced out.

The cajoling had no effect. :) 325th and VF27 wanted to do a combined operation just for the fun of it. We pointedly ignored the cajolers until we rtb'd then "played the CT" and balanced the numbers.

SO:  :p

heh

in the MA perhaps, but in the CT i'm one of the people who switch around as needed to help balance out of whack numbers, when it gets 1.5-2:1 you'll find me on the lower nbr'd side.  if it's less than 1.5:1 i'll wait and see if it balances out with newcomers, if not, then i switch.

since i've pretty much always been that way in CT, it's no hypocritical at all.  in general you're right, but when #'s get real lopsided, it's very, very interesting to see who switches... and who doesn't.

Personally I take the side with the lowest numbers as soon as I log on.  This is quite often the LW side. I can't fly LW iron at all so I tend to fly buffs more (one choice Ju88's) which are really tough in the BoB for the Allies.  If I fly for an hour quite often in that time I see the numbers flip flop.

For the most part it works out in the wash, but I like many of you wish others would switch sides more often when it is out of balance.  The exception to that is when a squad is flying together.  I would fly with the squadies for a mission or two and not worry about the balance.  I think most of us would.

the fact that the majority stayed above 20k playing with themselves, made it a non issue :)

was goofy though to see three squads as allied with almost 3 to 1 odds against LW .... you'd thunk they'd want to fight each other

I climbed up to 15 or 20K (really don't remember, but was pretty high).  No matter how high I got it seemed that there were about 20 cons way higher.  I just don't have the patience to clmb to the friggin stratosphere so that I can take on 20 guys by myself.
I then saw a furball near the port, so I dove down and mixed it up.  There were plenty of Tommys down there as well.

The next wave came in lower and attacked a field.  Defending that field was fun, even with terrible odds.

this crap comes up all the time and you morons know full well the 325th 880 and vf27 switch sides all the time.  We all get along quite well, and enjoy having joint ops sometimes.  You guys are just going to have to get over it.

Not our fault nobody likes flying with a few of you.

if you cant tell I am pretty fed up with this whine.  Lets try some better ones next time we have a cheese party on the bbs.
