 As this is my first official whine :D I don't expect to be rated very high.  I'll have to work on it.

Over the past several weeks, I have been experiencing more and more HO/run tactics.  Even when the enemy has the advantage (i.e. better plane, more alt/speed).  You get the idea.

Let me start off with, I have NO problems with HO'ing.  Although I don't do it as a norm.  Not HO'ing was beaten into me from AW2 and AW3, where it was strictly frowned upon.  Even tho it was nearly impossible to hit anything head-on.  Unfortunately, I am unable (or unwilling) to overcome this.  

Where I have the problem is when the bandit makes a HO pass (starting at d1.5), misses then runs away.  I can read the bandits mind... "OH SH*T, I missed the HO, what should I do???  RUN, RUN, RUN!!!".  Making no attempt to reverse and dogfite.  HO and then start to bnz?  Fine.  HO, reverse, HO again, fine.  HO, miss then run away???  Go play QUAKE.

The other day I watched a formation of b26's suicide a town.  A TOWN!!!!??? :eek:  :rolleyes: HOW CAN YOU MISS A TOWN AT 1500 FEET IN A BUFF???  I got the three prox kill, but geez....

If ur gonna fly in the MA, for CODS sake, make an ATTEMPT to learn ACM, make and attempt to learn the art of bombing.  AH has an ENORMOUS learning curve.  I've been flying 2 years almost and I still suck :D.  If you don't know ACM, ASK someone to help.  This community has got the best resources and people willing to help if you just ask.

The MA has gotten tedious to fly in.  I can barely justify even going in there anymore.  If it wasn't for my squad, I'd probably quit altogether.

Aces High 2/Mission Theater is long over due.  Tomorrow I head to the CT.  For you CT vets out there, be gentle :D

HiTech, I eagerly await AH2.  If bribes help speed it up, let me know

It may be that the HO'er was low on ammo, fuel, damaged or all of the above.  So that's why he didn't continue the fight.  Or maybe the wife was giving him dirty looks.  You never know.

You should fly the FW190A8 with the four 20mm cannon option and embrace the easy kills you'll get whenever someone (other than a P-38, Me109, or Me110) tries an HO.

I'll bet the HO-n-run guys are flying Mustangs, Corsairs, or P-47s, right?

Actually, most of the HO runners are LA7s if you can believe that.  Running from my poor C205.

Here is my attempt at a redo...  Better??? ;)

I QUIT!!  I QUIT!!  LA7 DWEEBS, RUNSTANG HO PUNKS...  I QUIT!!

QUIT RUNNING AWAY OR I'll QUIT!!!    RUDE, if I don't get nominated for WOTW, I QUIT!!!!  QUIT suiciding BUFF formations, OR I QUIT!!!

Ya'll a bunch of non ACM, HO running, dweeb plane flyin' no good, buff suiciding.....  Ah, the heck with it.  

I go back and read my original post.  I give myself a 3.5.  Not much of a whine, I just needed to vent.  CT here I come :D
