Vox Problems where there were none before.
« on: January 23, 2003, 09:55:46 AM »
As you can see I've been playing this game about 6 months and I've witnessed a lot of people losing vox, then relogging ot regain it.  In these last six months I think that happened to me twice.  Lately though, I can only get vox to work for about the first 20 seconds, then it goes kaput.  This has been going on for about a week now and I can't figure it out.  I've changed absolutely nothing in my system.  I've installed almost nothing except a Windows Critical Update, but even that after the problem first arose.  I've checked all my wiring and all my system setting (mic volume, directX, etc) and they're all the same they always were.  Anybody else run into this problem?  Any suggestions?

Fancy, I normally would blame sound drivers and stuff of that sort.  I have had no problems with it and then last night even after I re-logged i still lost vox.  I think HTC may need to look into the possiblility that it's on thier end.

I'm running
PIV-2.4 GHZ
Asus P4t533 mb
512 Samsung RDRAM
2 WD 80GB 7200 RPM striped drives
Ti4200 128MB DDR
SB Live 5.1
INTEL NIC 10/100 NIC
Clean DSL connection
Windows XP w/ DirectX9

it's seems to happen when there is more people online which is why I feel that it might be on thier end.  I know my hardware is not an issue.
