I had to wear full blues, with hat, goggles, respirator, ear protection.. while welding inside the hull of our ship.

was glad to go to Antarctica after that

I can handle high temps but that high humidity??? no friggin way

I remember that day.  Because I was chopping weeds in my dad's cotton field in Yuma that day.  It was over 130deg down there.  But, who's counting?  After 120 it's just hot.  :D

I drove a motorcycle accross the Mojave desert in August back in 1990.  We stopped in a small gas station/casino and checked the temp, it was 117 at 11:00 am.

Yes.. of course rip.  I'm sure all of Africa is exactly the same.  No moisture there... no jungles there... nah.. just desert.

I really don't remember you always being this stupid rip.  Is this just a mode you go into when you're trying too hard to make a point?

Sq. mile wise, Africa is predominently a dry continent.

So, hows the relationship going with you and Mini? ;) not that there's anything WRONG with that...

About the hottest temp I can remember being in was a few years ago at the Minnesota state fair.  It was near 100° with humidity up toward 100°.  That's about all this pansy can stand.  After an hour of sweating like a little piggy I was ready to head back to the car and the sweet succulent air conditioning!

My God rip.. you still think you're right?

Dude... seek help.

And Cpt.. glad to see you got the refference.  I apreciate the show of support (intentional or not) but must warn you that if you get on Rip's bad side, he'll search through "user's posts" and start replying with the blind ignorance that only he can muster.  You've been warned.

Just trying to help...it seems that Deja was not in the dry parts of Africa, as can be found out by reading his original post, if you're armed with the knowledge that there are some parts of Africa that aren't dry.

As for the relationship, that's going pretty well.  We had a spat the other day about what color to paint the bedroom.  He wants a faux finish with a greenish shade and I'm leaning toward a flowery pink.  Other than that all is well with the exception of Animal...he's stalking us.

Don't try to candy coat it SOB.

SOB wanted to go with a pastel orange similar to the Texas Longhorn's uniform color.  I argued that we might be gay, just not THAT gay.

It really was more of a tiff.  It was over quickly and we made up.
