U2 last year was way better.

I do like that they are getting away from the "super old aging ex-superstar lip syncing with about 800 frilly dressed dancers covering the field" type show.  

Bon Jovi was kind of strange though (not half time, but before vince lombardi trphy).  Supposedly they are going to try to make a tradition out of that song, like they used to do with "We Are The Champions".  Not ot take anything away from Bon Jovi, but what are they thinking?

They were probably thinking "we need a song about victory and achievement.  Write down a list of songs like that, and then whittle it down by performers still alive, and then whittle it down again by performers that don't have a criminal conviction against them. Ok, what do we have?"
