muck... 390 of those kills were on myself due to killshooter.  I did better when I flew the uber -1a...  And I don't shout... that is rude you are thinking of.

mia...  why?  I mean... it really is no fun to shoot the talentless human torches and building battlers.... who should we punish with building battler swatter duty?   Maybe draw straws?   "ok... your turn to fly high cap and no snoozing now!"

No... 25% fuel affects some planes very badly and others not at all so far as defense... a -1a or zeke or 51 is fine while spits or LW birds don't have enough fuel to even take off... And why bother in any case?   50% isn't gonna make you much more of a threat to "strat" but it is going to allow for better gameplay.

S!

not bad, not bad.  the thing about fuel killing is its all about strategy.  its is a great advantage to a base that is being overwhelmed.  if you notice how there is a big dar bar attacking your base that is comming from another base, just kill the fuel there and watch that dar bar dissapear.  these fighters will go somewhere else simply because there is not enough fuel.  other parts of that stategy includes killing fuel to make another country fight each other:D   it is no different than say... killing vehicles or troops or fighter hangers.

also little to no fuel can be an advantage.  imangine your in a nimble fighter that turns better because of the less weight.  how many people up to defend a base with 75% to 100% fuel load? (they blow up nicely).  if ya really want to aggravate someone, kill the fuel at the nearest base to the one you are attacking.  this gets rid of the goon hunters and reenforcements soon to be otw.  anyway, its all stategy.  just  have to find a way to adapt and overcome.

Yeah yeah "protect it" that's all they ever say.

Like I can protect stuff when I'm not even online and log on to see all the frontline bases porked.  Sorry guys, I can't live on AH like some of the "generaluz" do.

The whole "fuel pork" issue is completely unrelated to field capture anyway.  You don't have to damage the fuel to capture a base and there's absolutely no benefit to doing so--indeed, it makes the field less useful once the field IS captured.  It exists solely as a greif measure.   IMO the entire field-capture design of the MA is not very good (it could be made better), but that's a somewhat different matter.

I agree with Lazs completely.    Not that he'd care much for the opinion of a Pony driver

Yeah, that's probably it.

What a feature is indended to do isn't always the same as what its effect turns out to be.  Any game developer knows that.

Look at all the work HTC put into the MA strat model, yet despite their labor it's virtually never used.  The major use of enemy strat targets is milkrunning them once they're behind friendly lines; certainly that's not what the intention was but in the MA that's what they've become.

well pop..... what was the thinking on 25% if 25% is different flight time in every plane?  Perhaps it is a plot to make everyone fly jap and U.S. planes?

This is true.   Before I knew any better I would try kill the strats for the purpose of advancing the game.  Later I found the strats really don't matter, I just hit em now for perks and such.

It was a good idea, it just isn't working is all.  Want to bet they already have some ideas to fix it?

What are the odds Lazs do you suppose that this might happen? I'm betting nil to none.

well gee iron... i just thought that with the hundreds upon hundreds of posts that will surely be pouring in all agreeing with me....

either that or... simply seeing that the suggestion is from me, someone at HTC will read it and say.. "well it must be right or lazs wouldn't bother posting it... we should change that right away!"

yeah... bout the same odds as the myriad of other suggestions I see why?

Yet another  " I want it my way" thread....

It really sounds like you need to host your own H2H arena.
Makes perfect sense. remove bombers.. control the fuel.. 2 bases , constant furball with 7 other buddies..

Just wondered if you believed HTC would alter the game eliminating much of the strat invloved Lazs. Perhaps you are an eternal optimist like me. Or, maybe just trolling on a lazy afternoon? ;)

Fuel tanks are local targets, not strat.

An example of a strat target that might be useful to hit would be say a "drop tank factory"-- kill it and enemy team doesn't get DT's for 90 minutes or so.
