new damage model

I just had some questions, since we all know what we want.

1.  Hit sprites gone?  Are we going to particles and small explosions?

2.  Will visable damage be limited to component parts?  Or will we be able to 'see' the bullet holes, and a variety of missing portions of the plane.

3.  Sounds?  Are you gonna give mitsu the big money and go full 3d?

4.  G related pilot movement in the cockpit?  Slight movements in the 'pilot' relating to throttle or plane movement really makes it feel real.

Thanks, looking forward to it, and I guess you guys just got my cash for another 1 or two years.

How about Pilot wounds? Is there going to be a new process of a pilot getting hit and so forth? I hope that it will not be as easy for the pilot to get waxed.

In a few books that I have read the pilots would get down pretty low in the cockpit as to get more protection from the armor, or at least the metal of the plane, and keep as much of him self as possible out of the glass bubble.

So logically if you tune your views to 'linda blair' your head is more prone of catching stray bullets..

If you hide in your cockpit half blind, you don't get your brains blown out..

How's that for an idea? Sacrifice something in favour of the other.
