Can it please end at teh end of a flight?  Please.  More natural to remember to turn it on, than to turn it  off, IMO, ofcourse.

Good point, I've been converting many to AVIs and it really slows down the process skimming through LONG multiple flights.

I've also posted some suggestions in the Bug Forum.

Since Mister Rotor needs a reminder when to stop filming, I suggest we get HT to code this man to yell 'CUT' at the end of each flight.

French Mistake dance lessons should be optional though.

While we're on the subject...I think this idea is a VERY GOOD ONE......I would also like the option to have it PROMPT me for a save name.  This way when I land I can type in "F6f long sciccors" or whatever...and dont have to go through 25 films a week later to find the one I want :D

ALF, I viewed your film, nice pans and such

I'm hoping HiTech adds a few more features into the program, such as a fly-by view and such.

Right now, the constant "ringing" as you do any panning in the Film Editor drives me batty.

I'd also like to see the ability to hide the VOX test (top right) so when you are making a movie, like the icons, can all be hidden

I agree.  It would make films much more usable.

I programmed my Cougar to shut down the film when I start the engine.  It changes my text window size for an instant to remind me it is turning off the film.  If anyone is interested, here is what I did.

 Rem Film Recorder Controler
 DEF X3 S2 AND S3 Rem S2 /I (Film on/off) Flag
DEF X4 X3* Rem Film ON Toggle Flag
 DEF X5 S2 NOT S3 Rem S2 /O (Engine on/off) Flag
DEF X6 X5 AND X4 Rem Film ON Engine ON Flag

 BTN X3 Film_Rec Rem Film on/off
 BTN X6 Msg_Win_Size DLY(1000) Msg_Win_Size KD(X3) KU(X3) Rem Film Off indicator

It really doesn't matter I would rather save the additonal space for planes and other details of the game that might not make it because of haivng to waste time on a little stupid thing like forgeting to turn the camera off.  I mean get used to it.

I'd like to see automatic recording.

Have the game automaticly start recording, stop when you exit, and give you an option to save the film or not.

It sure would eliminate a lot of the stuff that gets missed by not filming, and save time when sorting through films.

Thank you for contributing to this thread.  I think we should do the suggesting and let HTC figure out how to prioritize and manage their time.   They seem to be quite good at this and don't need our help.

I want to have an option to have a gun cam on my plane where the trigger turns it on when you are firing and stops when you let go of the trigger.

BTW, does the JAVA gun cam for WB works in AH by a chance?

A question about the JAVA guncam. Does it work well in full screen in AH?

Its works well....of course there is this little issue of the size of the file you will be holding in memory.  Its best used as a small (200x200 or so) GUNCAM, with the WRITE TO DISK option programed onto your hotas.

Dont know 'bout automatic, but your other suggestion is good.  In that other now diffunt flitesim, once flight was over you got the option to save and name the film or discard.  Also, if you ctd'd or bsod'd, the film would be saved to teh windows temp dir.  Havent cked, but does AH film get saved if you CTD or BSOD?
