I have recently been using this for tagging enemy only. Problem is in a furball situation it is more a menace than a help so I would like to turn it off as a situation becomes hectic.

I know F11 turns padlock on and I can Tab to select target. But how do I turn Padlock off when no longer required (In the same flight).
I have tried F11 again but this does not seem to work

Cheers

I never used it -but I think all you have to do is hit F1 and return to normal view

S!

Padlock is fine for 1 vs 1 dueling fight but not for big online furbaling. With padlock you get way too easely target fixed which means easy target to somebode else.

At a begining AH snapviews could feel difficult to use but keep practise. You will adapt it prety fast.

IMO Every box or mmp flight combat sim should have cockpit pan-, snap- and mouseviews as a standard feature.

thanks, this padlock thing sometimes turns itself for me somehow and I was wondering how to get rid of it.

Thanks for the replies folks

When you map your keys to buttons its sometimes easy to forget the basics like F1

For interest I have 1 and F1 mapped to the same button to repeat while held. This is useful to return to the default forward view and bombers pilot seat in one press.

I had forgotten its default forward view function as it was so automatic in use!

It didn't take more than a few seconds online to get use to the three buttons for padlock F11 on Tab to select target (or chose next target) and F1 to turn of if it gets busy!
