HTC a nice idea for players:
« on: January 30, 2003, 06:42:43 PM »
I was reading a few threads about a form of log for AH MA arena that players could print out and it gave me a cool idea:

How about HTC incorperates a sort of flight logbook for each player that basically logs who fought who and who shot whoever down.Perhaps things like total flight times, completed missions, missions made and submitted, kills, condition of aircraft on landing etc etc.

It would be really good i think for the NEW role play type AH2.

At the end of the month you could download your page for your log book.
As you collect more and more you add these pages to your flight log.

Hey HTC! you could even sell some authentic looking folders that we can buy and put our printed logs in. Not something i'd do personally but im sure the younger players and the serious nuts would like their own Aces High flight log.

You could model it on some of the real logbooks for the fighter pilots in terms of layout etc.

what do you think?

I believe is talking about something like "Sturmlog" that they have for Il2. Or atleast the il2 logfile.

Where each sortie information is saved to a text file that can be reviewed out side of ah.

Doesnt AHfilm save information on a text file? It could be similiar  where its saved of the users end.

Instead of just saving user info it could provide info from the whole "session". It would have kills , hit %, etc from all players.

It could be activated similiar to Ahfilm. or a check box. Tthen we get get a 3rd party utility that can export those logs right to your squad score board.

Heres the kill board I set up for 4./JG 53

Pilots in ToD will have a dossier/logbook.  We haven't finalized everything that will be in there, but it will be things like basic pilot info, photo, rank, medals, combat log, disciplinary actions, etc.  Much of the stuff you're talking about would go into a pilots dossier/logbook.

Pyro-

When you say "Photo" of the pilot, do you mean we can submit an actual photo or will we choose from a set of Avatars?

Don't worry about the disciplinary actions Straffo, I'll be forming an online equivalent to the Black Sheep Squadron. Well, minus the good looking nurses anyhoo...
