I think that we aren't getting the most out of the perk point system (I know I'm not)... I have two ideas that would enhance their usefulness.

one... be able to give em to squadmates. I don't use em so... I would like to give em to squadmates that wanted em... say a dot command... "move 2000 perks to #####".

two.. (better yet) use them to subtract from other players.. "move 2000 perks from ######" you would subtract 2000 perks from both yours and his totals and he would be notified "player ### has removed 2000 perks from you".

Let me see if I understand this idea....you want to be able to steal other peoples perk points from them? Please enlighten me as to how this would do anything but piss other people off whne someone who playes 40 hours a week and makes 200 perk points a week, decides to take 200 perk points from someone who only plays 5 hours a week and had to fly for several months to get them.

Just a bad idea on SO many levels.

No he wants to be able to sacrifice his perk points to remove perkpoints from someone else. Not a bad idea...lol
have to be a 3 to 1 ratio though..

Another great Idea would be if I could spend perk points to deny someone else a plane. Like I could throw down 1000 perk points to stop someone from flying the Fm2 for day or two..

I don't like the idea of doing down another player, but I do like the idea of gifting other players. I think this is a great idea for missions.

Yes... I want to take perks away from other players. I don't like seeing perk planes in the arena... they are an unfair advantage. I believe that I should have some effect on their being in the game. Perk potatos say they "earned" their ride.... Would I not have "earned" the right to take it away from em? I mean.... I earned those points. They are useless to me pretty much... this woud give me some small measure of participation in the 'perk" system.

What are you on?

Perk planes, other than the F4U-1C, are all nicely identified as such and are easy to avoid. Due to the icons they carry perk planes are a disadvantage to the pilot in them, not an advantage. If everybody flew Spitfire Mk IXs the way Spitfire Mk XIVs are flown the K/D ratio of the Spitfire Mk IX would be higher than the K/D ratio of the Spitfire Mk XIV. The only reason that perk planes, even the Tempest and Me262, have a positive K/D ratio is because people fly them in a fashion that is dictated by the knowledge that they are being singled out for destruction by the majority of the enemy players in icon range. That is something that your FM2 or F4U-1 never has to deal with.

karnak... are you saying that.... It takes more skill to fly and get kills in a perk plane? LOL... what are you on? simply look at the stats. The perk planes are the top killers. You can run from anything in em. It is such bull to say that the perk planes have no advantage and.... If i read you correctly... are at a disadvantage...in the arena.

but... that being the case... I would be doing you a favor by removing those perk points from you so that you wouldn't be tempted to martyr yourself.

Lazs, why not simply remove the perk planes?

It's not like any of them see any signficant use anyways, and when they do they're usually killed or driven off quuickly.

indominate... I never wanted perk planes in the first place...

well... let me modify that... I really wanted the 163 as a perk plane but get rid of the rest.

The perk system could work if we had a seperate early war area carved out of the hidious and boring pizza. Let there only be perks in the late area.

I would be afraid of the F4U-C usage then.
It would be HO Monster #2 we would get, beside the UFO.

I think he meant removing the planes, not removing the perks for the planes.
