Just a quick thought...like everyone else, I'm impressed when someone gets 4 or 5 kills on one flight, and then because they are out of ammo, they take chances noone would take in real life cuz with that many kills they dont care if they die.

Heck, dieing is faster than flying back to base anyways

I know that the score/ranking takes into account the various ratios, but I wonder how this game would change if the ultimate realism reigned supreme.

I wonder what people think about wiping account stats each time you get killed. Also, I would love to see some kill stickers on the side of your plane for all your kills.

I disagree...

nothing is more satisfying than landing a P-38 after a 12 kill sortie you just filmed

I was trying to say that I wonder if making death = real death for your stats would force people to fly in a way that they would fly if their life depended on it.

but i dont always want to fly that way and i dont want everyone else too either.

dying virtual deaths and loosign the fight sucks in and of itself why make it more stressful?
