It's easy to slam people at their weakest.

(Btw. My posts are not intended to be anti-american in any way, I just have different opinnions on certain things.)

Heck, I played the green card lottery! Lol.

I've been to several boards and have seen no anti-American sentiments at all.  I saw a couple of love muffines, but they were from Texas, not Europe, and they were vicious, crude and dispicable but not anti-American.

In response to hitting the US at its weakest. I know it was a figure of speach so Im saying htis in general also. We maybe down and our harts may be hurting but by no means are we weak. Look at History anytime we were down we rally behind our country and always prevail.

anti-american has different meanings. to me being anti-american is not having an opinion and having a status quote. Democracy only works if we argue and fight and then compromise.

So if someone says something bad about america, it is about being anti-american?
Isn't that bit too radical title in most cases?

I suppose there can be only anti- and pro-americans..
Sounds kind of facistic way of putting up the things, doesn't it?
You're either fully for it or you're the enemy.

i think what they are saying is,,there are a few people{i wont say any names},,that dont live in usa,,,and every day they do nothing but spout crap about the usa,,,and thats all they talk about!! i dont care if some one says somthing bad about the usa,,but everyday i look in here,,its the same people saying the same crap,,,,i never see them say anything good about anyone,,or just strike up a conversation about planes or cars or anything,,,,you allmost feal like saying after time,,if you got nothing good to say,,dont say it at all,,lol but we all know that wouldnt work,,lol

people have a right to there opinions,,,but when they make it there life ,,waking up every day to dig some crap about are country,,or hoping innocent people die so they can blame the CIA,,,it starts to get a little old,,lol

uh, in case you haven't noticed Frogman, not everyone in this world of ours is pro democracy. I'd say there are plenty of nations out there that would snuff us all in an instant if it were within their power. Or, perhaps you think I'm delsuional as perhaps some on this board may?

I've seen nothing but people offering their condolences, from all over the place.

Or is this a question of needing people to have an 'appropriate emotional response'? Otherwise they are insensitive monsters or 'anti-american', in this case.

Either way, like I said, people have been uniformly saddened by the disaster.

mrsid felt the need to taint the thread about the shuttle with his "wisdom".  Its amazing this piece of trash really thinks its appropriate to do that.
