Thats not stealing a kill. It is stupidity on the nmez part, and tough luck on the friendlie's part. If you hadn't shot him, he woulda shot somebody else who was expecting you to have killed him.-----thats teamwork.

Ummm sorry, I don't buy it. Not at 2 to 300 yds dead 6, aint gonna happen. Although with the conns in the MA of late and the lag etc. rubber bullets can allow a dead nme to magically get away from certain death. Otherwise, nope.

What's really sad is when you see a vet from a well known squad out stealing kills . I saw this last night to my dismay

fdiron i assume you was low fighting the p51?

maybe those two guys came over saw 2 dots and dived in to help,blowing 10 minutes of climbing E only to see you had it under control and thought well hell i may as well attack and hurt/kill it and help this guy get clear and up to alt.

Thats what i would have done to be honest.Maybe, since i know an La7 will eat the p51 alive(if it has got slow and lo), I would have let you finish him and zoom back up but generally if i see a countrymate fighting low id make a fireing pass on the enemy.
NOT because i want your kill but to HELP YOU get advantage or better position.

And how many times have these same people SAVED your bellybutton after a fight gets low and slow eh?

Remember not all players know the different planes in and out.

The only time a kill is a steal is when YOU HAVE ALREADY DISABLED the enemy aircraft and that doesnt mean you have holed a fuel tank or broke off an aileron either, it means that aircraft isnt going anywhere(ie vertical stabiliser,a wing or tail or engine fire).

shoot at these sort of disabled targets and you are a theif
