the 180 us bux or so it would take feeds my wife and kids for about two weeks or makes a car payment .

Guys, wait for the patches.  I've been here long enough to know there is a fps hit with every new version.  It is mostly resolved by the time the patches are out.  Now IMO there is a bug with the ground clutter in 1.08 (& 1.081) that causes a big fps hit.  If I'm right there will be barely any fps hit if it's fixed.

type 7 socket mobo with a cyrix 400 chip
overclocked to about 525 mhz

96 meg of ram
a 8 meg stealth 2000 vid card
monster 2 12 meg graphics accelerator card

no agp port on this mobo so any vid cards i get would need to be pci slot

was getting frames comparable to midnights

10 in smoke  25 in clear sky

Im trying got zapped with some bills and a bank screw up cost me some serious overdraft charges last month   bastages at bofa wont admit its there fault so The lil man gets screwed .
Ive changed bank but still have to pay off the bank or go sit in jail neither prospct is appealing .
