Sparkles and mip maping

my tiles a shimmering in the distance. I turned on mipping but man thats ugly on my nvidia.
 is there any way to reduce or iliminate the shimmer?

My tiles are HORRRRRRRIBLE with mipmapping off. You'll have to smooth or soften your tiles even take out some contrast to eliminate the glitter effect.
