immersion ...
« on: July 26, 2000, 02:22:00 PM »
Flew a very intense Sortie a few days back ..
I was giving escort to Fujifilm flying a B17 running Bombs against the heavily defended A27 ..

We finaly took it and Fujifilm radioed in that he had to make an immediate emergency landing so i pulled my HOG alongside and flew his wing in for landing...

the moment i formed up on his smoking Fort was one of the best i had in AH so far .. maybe it was the adrenaline wearing off

Hehe, few things come closer to immersion as when you see downed P 51 crash into the terrain and you hear Horrido in kill buffer
