Ok, I know there has to be someone who makes a chair that supports mounting a joystick/throttle on the arms, and possibly the speakers on the back or something. I've seen it - but of course when you actually start to look for something, you can never find it.

Any guidance would be appreciated!

Thanks.

$650 for the top of the line action computer couch potato model?

Hmmmmmm.

I think I'd be scared to meet a guy that would drop that on a gaming chair.

Right, thats why I said "kinda" ;) I'll probably opt to just try and build something similar - but thats the general idea I'd like to find.

Nim, its easy to get Mucks cockpit past your wife.  For $160 and a few hours of your time in the garage, just tell her you're building some office furniture. ;)

I hate typing at that angle...tough on the wrists too in the long run...here's what I did for the keyboard, however you couldn't use a centered-joystick in the case of this type of cockpit.:

I also found the keyboard angle awkward & uncomfortable. I ended up modifying the setup by putting an adjustable keyboard tray that pulls out. Works great. From your picture rip, looks like you built a unit for the joystick to sit at a more relaxed position. I did the same.
