Phase 6 is about to start soon.  been beta tester since beta 3.

The game is going to break new ground. Its nothing like Earth and Beyond....that game sucked... its all eye candy and no game play.

So far eve is a space masive multiplayer.  The graphics are amazing.  Even with the graphics turned all the way up i still havent had a slowdown due to the graphics.  Only slowdown was when the server was about to crash due to some bugs.

to learn more about eve go to there website:  EVE ONLINE

you can eather join a corp. or become a pirate (pirates are alot of fun.. attacking everyone.)

If anyone knows of a good website i could host pictures for free i could show you guys how awsome eve is.

from Eve-online:

EVE is a world far away from mankind's original habitat, planet Earth. How far away, and where, no one knows. Humans got there through a natural wormhole, and gazing upon a sky never before seen, were completely unable to determine the whereabouts of this new world. From the system of New Eden, where the gate of EVE that once led to the old world lies, humans expanded in all directions at a great pace, exploring and colonizing.

Then, seemingly out of the blue, the EVE gate collapsed in an apocalyptic catastrophe of a scale never before witnessed by the human race, ruining the New Eden system in the process. Thousands of small colonies were left in isolation to fend for themselves. For millennia they endured on the brink of extinction and only a handful survived.

Of those surviving colonies, 5 were to rise up and become the major empires that hold between them the balance of power in the world of EVE today. These are: the Amarr Empire, the Gallente Federation, the Caldari State, the Minmatar Republic and the Jovian Empire, plus several small independent factions and states.

For more than a century the five empires have lived together in relative peace. They've strived hard to maintain this peace, as each of them realizes only too well the grave consequences of a massive inter-stellar war. Recent technological breakthroughs in FTL travel, and the ensuing increase in space travellers, has shaken, but not broken the fragile peace - at least not yet.

I am registered as a Beta tester, but they haven't let me in yet:(
Looks promising, not to mention that it's Icelandic, MUHAHAHAHA
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Wow. I find the idea of a fully functioning economic model the most interesting. The idea of player ran corporations is very interesting.

I remember signing up for beta a long time ago, but as yet haven't heard anything.

I'm in the beta - have been a bit unlucky with stuff like loosing my connection right as a betaphase started and then getting it back up again right as the phase was over - so I havent played or tested it that much. It holds a lot of potential and the graphics are really beautyfull. I hope they'll manage to get all the potential fitted together into a well functioning game before release.

The NDA on the betatesters should be lifted sometimes during this month.

The servers are Down now.. they are about to start beta 6. They were going to start last friday but they found some bugs that they wanted to fix before bata 6 so Angus just hang on....we are all waiting for the servers to start up!  :D

unlike the Starwars Galaxy beta where the star war servers are up only a few hours a day where the EVE servers are up 24/7 unless it crashes. Which i only seen 3 times which they fixed.
Getting use to the iceland time is a bit confusing.

The market has worked great so far.  The only thing i found that suckes hard is that there are some ore that you get more money for and once they are found they are mined out of the astroid untill theres no more left!  THe ore dont regenerate so once there gone there gone. :(

I tryed to post a picture of me mining for some ore...hope it turns out

I use a GForce2 and that is what the game looks like while using it, and the graphics set to normal.  :D
