Killing and Rebuilding?
« on: February 10, 2003, 01:00:45 PM »
How does hitting and rebuilding stuff on the ground work in detail?

The usual information is like "CVs die after 8klbs of bombs". But this only seems to be part of the truth. When scattered over a long time more than that is required.

So there seems to be some kind of healing effect in progress.

How much does a damaged building heal? 25 lbs/minute? 50? Which ground objects do heal - all of them or just some?

If there is healing while something is up but damated, why isn't it possible to damage something that is down and rebuilding by dropping additional bombs to keep it down?

If a Hangar stops smoking (2/3rd of the rebuild time passed) and I dish in another 2klbs of bombs, should that make the effort of rebuilding void?

Summary of the questions: :)
HTC: How does it work - and why?
Players: How do you think it should work?
