The greatest advantage the Ta-152 has is fuel endurance.

With 25% fuel you can last as long as 50% in the La7.

So you are fighting a very light bird.

Second it's e retention is the best I've seen so you may be faster but he will hold 400mph on the deck forever it seems.

If I were fighting one I would use the virtical and try to get them to loop with you in an La7 and use your superior power in the virtical.

It is a supreme machine and should not be underestimated.

Since AH doesn't let you load x number of gallons of fuel, I wonder at what fuel load the different planes performance charts were done at?

2stoney,

It's always tough vs a true set of wingies...vs two guys both just brawling with you. Realistically your in a tough spot...that being said I've got a couple of questions for you. You did the right thing going down to the weeds. Once your there you need to slow the fight down. Obviously there's a risk....but to win you need to suck them in and get them to waste a bit of E. Your comment that the wingie was "right behind" actually gave you a bit more of a chance...I think two E fighters in a "welded wing" style are easier than a high/low or other type of loose duece. Basically...you need to force an overshoot on the lead and see what the trail does...if he goes high to deny the overshoot I'd pull back up into him and go for a spiral climb if you can or pull thru into astraight reverse. The la7 will easily outclimb or accelerate the 152 down low. The 152 doesnt really find it's zone til 17k or so.
